Matt Cooley

Matt Cooley is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong background in experiential event management and adventure tourism. Currently a Co-Founder of Open Venues since November 2023, Cooley has also been serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Cloth & Flame since December 2016, where the focus is on creating innovative events. Previous ventures include ownership of Equinox Hot Air Balloon Rides from July 2017 to August 2019, providing personalized hot air balloon experiences in the Phoenix area, and founding Float Balloon Tours, a unique balloon ride company acquired by Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon Co. in 2019. Cooley's career also includes roles as Logistics Coordinator and Tour Director for Holland America Line and Princess Cruises from 2013 to 2015, and as Wholesale Manager at Salt & Straw in 2012-2013.
