Jim Kellner

Chief Scientist at Cloud Agronomics

Jim Kellner has worked in a variety of roles in the academic and research fields. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Carnegie Institution for Science. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland. Jim then moved to Brown University, where they served as an Assistant Professor from 2013 to 2019 and as an Associate Professor from 2019 to present. Additionally, they currently hold the role of Chief Scientist at Cloud Agronomics.

Jim Kellner has a long history of education. Jim began their studies in 1996 at Colorado State University, studying Zoology/Animal Biology. After two years, they attended James Cook University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology, Evolution, Systematics, and Population Biology. Jim then went on to Dartmouth College, where they earned a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2005. Finally, they attended The University of Georgia, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Botany/Plant Biology in 2008.
