Richard Ryan

Richard Ryan is the former New York State Human Services Cluster Deputy Chief Information Officer for the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS). As the deputy CCIO, he oversaw the applications (business solutions) for the five agencies, which included; the Office of Children and Family Services, Office of Temporary Disability and Assistance, Department of Labor, Division of Human Rights, and the Higher Education Services Corporation. Rick worked with each agency’s Business Solution Director regarding monitoring projects for each agency, dealing with project escalation issues, providing guidance on risks and issues for projects, and overall best practices for project management. Coordination across IT divisions within the cluster to support portfolio management, administrative, financial / procurements, security, testing, and solution/enterprise architecture. He worked with ITS operations and other clusters to provide common solutions to meet business needs across NYS.
