Pierre-Luc Dion

Pierre-Luc Dion is a seasoned cloud architecture professional with extensive experience in leading cloud solutions and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Lead Cloud Architect at Hypertec Group since November 2021, Pierre-Luc has also held similar leadership roles at cloud.ca since November 2016 and at CloudOps since December 2011, focusing on Cloudstack-based architectures and automation using Chef. Contributions to the Apache CloudStack as a Committer and PMC member since September 2014 highlight Pierre-Luc's commitment to open-source development. Previous roles include senior system administration and consultancy at Syntenic, application engineering at Expedia, and systems administration at Newtrade. Pierre-Luc's technical expertise spans advanced services in storage, load-balancing, and virtualization, coupled with hands-on experience in managing and deploying private clouds.
