Bernie Pruss

Bernie Pruss has extensive work experience as a data solutions architect and consultant. Bernie currently serves as the CEO and Chief Data Solutions Architect at Cloud Data Consulting since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Data Solutions Architect at Two Rivers Consulting, Inc. from June 2010 to present. Additionally, Bernie worked as a Principal Consultant at Global Data Strategy, Ltd from October 2019 to May 2021, and as the Chief Data Solutions Architect at Mashey from August 2018 to March 2021. Bernie also worked as a Data Warehouse Senior BSA/Solutions Architect at Randstad USA from March 2017 to September 2018.

Before that, Bernie served as a Senior Data Warehouse Consultant at Centennial Data Group from November 2016 to December 2016. Bernie worked as a Senior Data Architect and Tech Lead at Tata Consultancy Services from March 2015 to April 2016, and as a Senior Data Architect/Agile Team Member at Datasource Consulting from October 2013 to March 2015. Bernie also worked as a BI/DW Consultant at Apex Systems from February 2013 to October 2013, and as a Lead Technical Manager at Experis from September 2012 to December 2012. Throughout their career, Bernie Pruss has developed expertise in data architecture and management, including database design, data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based marketing applications.

Bernie Pruss's education history begins in 1982 when they attended Naval Nuclear Power School to study Nuclear Reactor Theory and Operations. Bernie completed their studies in 1983. From 1983 to 1987, Bernie pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder.

In addition to their formal education, Bernie has pursued various certifications. In 2018, they obtained several certifications from the Cloud Analytics Academy, including Cloud Analytics Architect, Cloud Analytics Master, and Cloud Analytics Practitioner. Bernie also completed the Cloud Analytics Academy's Executive Fast Track program. More recently, in 2021, Bernie obtained SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake. Bernie also has plans to pursue the SnowPro Advanced: Architect certification in 2023.

Outside of traditional academic settings, Bernie has engaged in personal, organizational, and societal transformation through their studies at Landmark Education. No specific start or end dates are provided for this educational experience.
