John Scharber

John Scharber is an experienced technology executive and entrepreneur with a strong background in cloud-native applications, sustainable aquaculture, and transport protocols. Currently serving as an advisor at CloudDefense.AI since January 2020, Scharber has co-founded NimbleBrain and contributed to PavedRoad as a board member and founder, focusing on streamlining cloud application deployment. Previously, Scharber held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Forever Oceans, driving sustainable aquaculture solutions, and at Ericsson, where Scharber oversaw network design for edge computing. With a history at VidScale, Inc., Limelight Networks, and EdgeCast Networks, Scharber has played key roles in technology innovation and product development, complemented by early experience in fitness facility management. Scharber studied at San José State University from 1981 to 1983.
