Basavaraj Hooli

Basavaraj Hooli has a long and successful career in the technology industry. Basavaraj started their career in 1990 as a Professor at PICT. In 1997, they became the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Software Exports Pvt Ltd. Basavaraj then moved to Aftek Infosys Ltd. in 2001 as Vice President (Projects). In 2006, they joined Mphasis as the Head of Enterprise Mobility Practice and AVP/Delivery Manager. Here, they were responsible for developing and delivering the Next Generation Billing System and took the complete ownership during Go-Live activities. Basavaraj was also responsible for building a ODC for developing Next Generation Billing System (Telecom Billing). In 2012, they founded Graceful Growth Consulting (India) Pvt.Ltd. In 2014, they joined the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in Pune as a Senior Adviser. Currently, they are the Head of India Operations at Cloud Defense, Inc.

Basavaraj Hooli received their BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Karnatak University between 1980 and 1984. Basavaraj then went on to earn their M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 1988 and 1990. Prior to their university studies, Basavaraj Hooli attended Sainik School Bijapur.
