Colin Evans

Colin Evans is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chairman at Cloud Gateway since April 2021, Colin oversees growth strategies alongside the executive team. As a Strategic Advisor and Business Angel Investor at Refute, Colin focuses on combating disinformation through advanced technological solutions. Previously, Colin held the position of Chief Executive at Thruvision, known for its innovative security camera technology, and served as Non-Executive Director at 6point6, where strategic advisement and M&A support were pivotal. Colin co-founded Digital Barriers, where notable achievements included the acquisition of multiple IP-based technology firms, and was also Chief Operating Officer at Detica Group PLC, an international consultancy that saw significant revenue growth and a lucrative exit to BAE Systems. Colin holds a BEng in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Southampton.
