Katie Lewin

Federal Director at Cloud Security Alliance

Katie Lewin is the current Federal Director at the Cloud Security Alliance. Katie has extensive experience in government and industry, managing mission-critical IT programs. Katie was the first Director of the Federal Cloud Computing Program under the Federal CIO. In this role, they managed multiple cutting edge cloud programs, including infrastructure as a service, e-mail as a service, and cloud brokers. Katie has direct working experience with most civilian agencies, the Office of the CIO at the Department of Defense, and many security agencies to plan for and implement cloud programs. Katie also developed and implemented the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and managed the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative. Prior to their role at the Cloud Security Alliance, Katie spent six years at SRA, where they were responsible for growth and management of a $30+M program providing services including security and incident management, systems development, and program support for financial agencies.

Katie Lewin has a Bachelor's degree from Trinity Washington University and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University.

They work with Todd Edison - Chapter Relations Manager, Hing-Yan Lee - EVP, Government Affairs, and Tom Eisenhower - Senior Account Executive. Their manager is Jim Reavis, Co-Founder & CEO.
