Rob Ferrill

Rob Ferrill is the AVP-CISO at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where they oversee information security and manage three specialized InfoSec teams. With extensive experience exceeding 16 years in the cybersecurity field, Rob has developed a robust framework of security controls and actively enhances UAB's security posture through various initiatives. Previously, Rob served as Chief Information Security Officer at UAB Medicine and has held several pivotal roles across various organizations, including in the US Navy Reserves. They are also an advisory board member for The Cyber Helpline and participate in the CISO Advisory Council at Dune Security.
