John Poulin

John Poulin currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Cloud Security Partners since August 2023. Previously, John held multiple roles at GitHub from June 2019 to August 2023, including Staff Manager in Product Security Engineering, Staff Product Security Engineer, and Senior Application Security Engineer. Prior to GitHub, John was the Director of Engineering and Principal Application Security Consultant at nVisium from December 2013 to May 2019, providing application security services such as static analysis and dynamic testing. John's earlier experience includes Lead Software Engineer at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center, where leadership was provided for the development of web applications, Web Editor at The Maine Campus, and Web Developer at the University of Maine's Computer Connection. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maine between 2008 and 2012.
