Ed Casmer

Ed Casmer is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud security and product development. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Cloud Storage Security since July 2020, Ed leads initiatives focused on securing file sharing within AWS S3 through advanced threat detection engines. Prior to this role, Ed spent over 13 years at Symantec in various leadership positions including Chief Executive Officer and Cloud Practice Technical Lead, where responsibilities included managing technical integrations with major cloud platform providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Ed began their career at Accenture as an Analyst, contributing to telecommunications software, and has held key roles in startups and at Affiliated Computer Services (now Xerox) focused on product management and development. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
