Simon Emms

Simon Emms is a highly experienced Senior Platform Engineer currently working at konstruct since June 2024. Previously, Simon served as Lead Platform Engineer at Bohemia Interactive Simulations, where the development of an Internal Developer Platform involved complex global data replication and multi-OS node management. With a strong background in DevOps, Simon held roles at Gitpod as Senior Engineer, where leadership was provided for the self-hosted product, as well as co-founding BrowserSpy, which focused on scalable testing tools. Additional consultancy work was done at various organizations, including the British Red Cross and Ofgem, providing solutions in DevOps and architecture. Simon's educational foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in International Politics and Strategic Studies from Aberystwyth University.
