Peter Blackett

Peter Blackett has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Peter currently holds the position of Head of Information Technology Operations at Cloud21 Ltd since August 2021. Prior to this role, Peter served as the IT Infrastructure Manager at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust from April 2016 to August 2021. Peter also worked as the ICT Service Manager at Kent Community Health NHS Trust from July 2009 to March 2016. During the same period, they also held the position of ICT Service Manager at NHS West Kent from July 2009 to March 2011. Before joining the NHS, Peter worked as a Senior IT Installation Engineer at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust from April 2008 to July 2009. Peter began their career as a Software Developer at Affinitus Group Ltd from July 2001 to April 2008.

Peter Blackett earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Essex from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Information Technology from Canterbury College from 1997 to 1999. Their secondary education includes the completion of GCSEs at Westlands Secondary School from 1992 to 1997. Additionally, Peter Blackett has obtained various certifications in the field of IT and cybersecurity, such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator, Palo Alto Networks Accredited Systems Engineer (PSE) - Software Firewall Associate, Palo Alto Networks Systems Engineer (PSE) - Strata Associate, and ITIL 4 ® Foundation, among others.
