Oleg Labkovich

Oleg Labkovich has extensive work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Oleg is currently the Director of Engineering at Cloudastructure, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from July 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Cloudastructure, Inc., Oleg was a Staff Software Engineer at NEXT Trucking from October 2019 to July 2021.

Earlier in their career, Oleg held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Vylla from August 2018 to October 2019, where they led a team of developers in designing, implementing, analyzing, and supporting business initiatives. Oleg also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Bull Media House from August 2016 to August 2018.

From July 2011 to August 2016, Oleg worked as a Principal Software Engineer at EMC, where they were part of the core team designing and developing a next-generation data protection product. Oleg played a key role in implementing highly scalable components based on microservices architecture using Java, Spring, Reactor, Netty, AMQP, RabbitMQ, and REST. Oleg also worked on the Avamar management console and resolved TCP/IP communication issues while enhancing performance and scaling.

Prior to EMC, Oleg worked as a Senior Software Engineer at RBS from October 2010 to June 2011, developing GWT-based events calendar and supporting imaging workflow projects for financial document management. Oleg also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Arbonne Int. from September 2009 to October 2010.

Oleg's career began at Exadel Inc, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer from March 2004 to September 2009. During their time there, they were involved in J2EE application design and development for various projects, including those for Wolters Kluwer, SEARS, UBS, and Exadel.

Oleg Labkovich completed their Master's degree in Informatics from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, spanning from 1999 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera in the field of Google Kubernetes Engine and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. These certifications were obtained in July and August 2019.
