Shawn Wilkinson

Shawn Wilkinson has a solid work experience in the technology field. Shawn is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudbeds since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PeerStreet as a Senior Software Engineer where they conducted an audit of front-end engineering practices and technologies, developed functionality using the Vue Framework, and collaborated with product, design, and engineering stakeholders. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Peapod Digital Labs, where they served as a dev lead, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and mentored junior developers.

Shawn also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Metafora (formerly CarrierDirect), where they designed and built applications for logistics companies and served as a front end tech lead. Shawn also worked at Allstate as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed and maintained Java Spring microservices and practiced test-driven development. Additionally, they have worked as a Software Developer at BluePay Processing and as a Web Development Student at Dev Bootcamp.

Before entering the technology field, Shawn worked in other industries, including real estate sales at Parham Properties and as a Marketing Manager at Language Express, Thailand. Shawn also gained experience as an Intern at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), where they evaluated the economic impact of an agricultural development program.

Prior to that, Shawn completed a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Economics, and German at Seattle University.
