Peter Easler

Peter Easler has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Peter currently holds the position of Principal Solutions Engineer at CloudBolt Software, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Engineer for CloudBolt Software from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining CloudBolt Software, Peter worked at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group as a Cloud Economics Consultant from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for analyzing the performance and financial health of cloud environments and delivering cost optimization opportunities for enterprise-level customers.

Peter also has experience as a Co-Founder/Director at Students Care from 2017 to 2021, where they played a key role in the organization's development and management. Additionally, they worked as a Data Analytics Finance Intern at 10th Magnitude in 2019 and as a Development & Fundraising Intern at The University of Iowa Center for Advancement in 2018.

Earlier in their career, Peter worked at Iowa Department of Human Services as a Consumer Choices Option Healthcare Manager/Provider from 2017 to 2018, at West Des Moines Parks & Recreation as a Swim Instructor from 2015 to 2017, and at YMCA of Greater Des Moines as a Swim Coach/Instructor & Lifeguard from 2014 to 2017.

Peter Easler pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Systems from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Valley High School from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their education, Peter obtained the FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner certification from The Linux Foundation in May 2021 and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2021.
