Ben Turner received their bachelor's degree in Classics from The University of Texas at Austin between 1996 and 2000. Before that, they attended Plano East Senior High School from 1994 to 1996. In 2002, they obtained an associate degree in Modern Standard Arabic from the Defense Language Institute. Ben later pursued a Master of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University from 2007 to 2009. Lastly, from 2011 to 2013, they attended New York University where they completed a Master of Professional Studies degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program.
