Michael O'Connor

Michael O'Connor is the Chief Operating Officer at Cloudburst Technologies, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, O'Connor worked at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange from July 2019 to 2025, progressing through several legal positions, including Deputy General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Litigation Counsel. O'Connor also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at Penn State University from July 2018 to July 2019 and was an Associate at Quinn Emanuel from October 2012 to July 2018. Earlier in O'Connor's career, a law clerkship was completed with the Hon. D. Brooks Smith at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from August 2011 to October 2012, followed by a role as an Associate at White & Case, LLP from November 2009 to August 2011. Michael O'Connor earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Biology from Penn State University.
