Jhoana Basto

Jhoana Basto is an HR leader and thought partner with over 20 years of experience, including more than 15 years in internal HR function management and over 4 years in HR and change management consulting with PwC. They have held prominent HR roles in various organizations, such as HR Director at Remitly, where they built the HR function from the ground up and expanded the talent pool significantly. Currently, Jhoana serves as the Human Resources Director at CloudEats, after leading HR at several other companies including AF Payments Inc. and Coins.ph. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from the University of the Philippines.
