Aman Sinha is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in data warehousing and SQL query engines. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Cloudera since October 2019, Aman focuses on developing innovative functionalities within the Cloudera Data Warehouse organization. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at Cloudera, where contributions were made to Apache Impala and Hive. Additionally, Aman has been involved with The Apache Software Foundation on Apache Impala since January 2014. Prior experience includes positions at MapR Technologies as a Software Architect and Senior Principal Software Engineer, where significant advancements in SQL query capabilities and performance optimization were achieved. A tenure at ParAccel and IBM involved key developments in query optimization and architecture for database systems. Aman holds a Doctorate in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
