Michael Liu

Michael Liu is a Senior Software Engineer at Cloudera, having previously served as a Founding Engineer at Verta, where they contributed significantly to the development of the `verta` Python client and managed Kubernetes deployments. Michael's background includes internships at Flex, where they automated Salesforce user permissions, and Riffyn, where they developed a Python backend for data analytics. They also have experience in education and administration, having worked as a Percussion Coach and an Administrative Assistant. Michael holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Ohlone College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego.
