Mitch Thomas

Mitch Thomas is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer II and Software Architect at Cloudera since October 2022, Mitch leverages a strong background in data solutions, having previously held a Senior Software Architect position at Tripwire for over thirteen years. At Tripwire, Mitch managed a strategic team focused on innovative product development while contributing to the application of Team Topologies methodologies. Early career experience includes roles as Architect at GemStone Inc., Lead Engineer at DoubleClick, and QA Architect at both DoubleClick and NetGravity. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and Antenna Theory from Santa Clara University.
