Shiv Moorthy

Shiv Moorthy is an experienced professional in product management and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Cloudera since April 2022, focusing on enterprise data solutions across cloud environments. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Product Manager at Rubrik, Inc., and Product Manager at EMC, where expertise in APIs, product performance, and competitive analysis was developed. Earlier positions at NetApp and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies involved managing data protection solutions and defining product specifications for disk drives, respectively. Shiv's foundational career began at IBM as an Advisory Engineer and at Seagate as a Process Engineer. Shiv holds an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University, an MS in Applied Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico, and a B.E. in Production Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
