Thea Villaranda has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Thea began their career in 2010 as a Team Lead/Reports Analyst, Reports Analyst, GSD Leader Enabler, and Level 2 Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard. In 2017, they moved to DXC Technology as an IT Service Desk Manager. In 2018, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Operations Manager, and in 2019 they became a Service Desk Manager at CloudFirst Technology Solutions Inc.

Thea Villaranda has a long and varied education history. Thea obtained a Computer Engineering degree and an Engineer's degree from Ateneo de Naga University between 2002 and 2007. In addition, they have obtained a number of certifications, including MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services from Microsoft in April 2022, Microsoft AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in April 2021, MS 900 - Microsoft O365 Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2021, Presentation Practice Workshop Trainer in May 2015, Windows 7 - Configuring in April 2014, and ITILv3 Certification in November 2011.
