Alan Perkins

Alan Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alan currently holds the position of Vice President - Application Engineering at CloudFit Software since May 2021. Before that, they were the Senior Director - Customer Application Engineering from November 2019 to May 2021, and Director - Customer Engineering from March 2019 to November 2019, all at CloudFit Software. Prior to joining CloudFit Software, Alan worked as a Senior Consultant at Blueprint Consulting from December 2017 to April 2018.

In their earlier career, Alan had several self-employed ventures, including being an Entrepreneur/Owner of a retail shop, catering presence, and wholesale roastery from January 2015 to December 2016. Alan also worked as a Senior Consultant from September 2011 to May 2013 and as a Senior Project Manager from March 2010 to July 2011, both in self-employment. Alan also had roles as a Senior Project Manager from April 2009 to September 2009 and from May 2007 to June 2008 in self-employment.

Alan's long-term experience in a corporate setting includes their tenure at Microsoft from March 2003 to February 2005 as a Group Operations Program Manager, from February 1999 to February 2003 as a Lead Program Manager - Beta Group Operations, from September 1995 to February 1999 as a Senior Analyst - Enterprise Software Acceptance, and from January 1994 to September 1995 as a Lead Analyst - Channel Measurement. Alan held various responsibilities such as leading IT teams, managing budgets, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and building enterprise-level test teams.

Alan Perkins has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Computer Information Systems and Finance from Idaho State University. Additionally, they have obtained an ITIL Foundation Certification from LeaderQuest Denver and has completed courses in Six Sigma Process Improvement and Green Belt at Microsoft University.
