Chad Skinner is the General Counsel at Cloudflare, where they lead a globally-distributed team of over 35 corporate, compliance, and commercial legal professionals. Since joining Cloudflare in 2018, Chad has been instrumental in guiding the company through its successful IPO and has contributed to its mission of building a better Internet. Previously, Chad spent over 20 years at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where they developed a broad-based corporate skill set and represented a variety of clients in complex M&A transactions. Chad graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and holds a JD, also Cum Laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
