Matt Fleming

Matt Fleming is a Principal Systems Engineer at Cloudflare, contributing to performance and Linux kernel initiatives. With nearly 20 years of experience in Open Source projects, they have served in various roles, including as an Engineering Manager at DataStax, where they led a team focused on contributions to Apache Cassandra. Previously, they held positions at Intel Corporation as a Linux Kernel Tech Lead and at SUSE as a Software Engineer Consultant, investigating and addressing performance issues. They have also participated in the Google Summer of Code, enhancing the Python Debugger with new capabilities. Additionally, Matt co-founded Nyrkiö, where they lead engineering for a performance platform.
