Roderick Fanou, PhD, is a Systems Engineer at Cloudflare since June 2021, specializing in Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, and Traffic Engineering. Prior to this role, Roderick served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA) from 2018 to 2021, and as a Research Assistant and PhD Student at IMDEA Networks Institute from 2013 to 2017. During a visiting graduate program at CAIDA/UC San Diego in 2015-2016, Roderick conducted significant research on Internet congestion and interconnection schemes for Internet Exchange Points in Africa.
