Simon Brand

Simon Brand is an Engineering Manager for Data Products at Cloudflare, where they have been since 2025. With over six years of experience in building data products from conception to completion, Simon has honed their machine learning and software skills while fostering team growth and collaboration. Previously, Simon served as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Manager at SIXT, leading the Data Science Fleet Optimization Group. They also contributed to the field as a Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Celonis and an Academic Tutor for Math and Data Science at Universität Mannheim. Simon holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Universität Mannheim, graduating with distinction, and has a strong academic foundation in mathematics from both Universität Mannheim and Universitetet i Oslo.
