Steve Carlson

Steve Carlson currently serves as the Public Sector - Field Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare since May 2023. Prior to Cloudflare, Steve held the position of Director of Information Technology at Starwest Botanicals, where significant IT modernization efforts were implemented, including infrastructure revamps and eCommerce strategy overhauls. Steve's experience also includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at Buddies Brand, where revenue grew from under $500k to over $40MM, and at Licorne Technologies, where a custom Seed-to-Sale software suite for the cannabis industry was developed. Previous roles included positions at VerifyID and Armor Technology Group, as well as responsibilities in public sector solutions engineering and management at Verizon Cloud Compute and Verizon Business. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of California, Davis.
