Thomas Seifert

Thomas Seifert is currently the CFO at Cloudflare. Thomas has previously held positions at CompuGroup Medical SE, IPG Photonics, Symantec, Brightstar Corp., and AMD.

Seifert began their career at AMD in 2009 as the Chief Financial Officer. In 2012 they were promoted to Interim Chief Executive Officer. Thomas held this position until they left the company in 2017.

In October 2012, Seifert joined Brightstar Corp. as the Chief Financial Officer. Thomas held this position for two years before moving on to Symantec in March 2014.

At Symantec, Seifert served as the Chief Financial Officer for three years before leaving in April 2017.

In January 2018, Seifert joined CompuGroup Medical SE as a member of the Board of Directors. Thomas served on the Audit Committee during their time with the company. Thomas left CompuGroup Medical SE in June 2020.

Seifert joined Cloudflare in September 2020 as the CFO.

Thomas Seifert has a Master of Business Administration from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Master of Arts in Economics from Wayne State University.

Thomas Seifert reports to Matthew Prince, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Janet Van Huysse - SVP, Chief People Officer, Joe Sullivan - Chief Security Officer, and Jennifer Taylor - Chief Product Officer.
