Chris Roberts

Chris Roberts has held a variety of roles in the IT industry since 2001. Chris began their career as a Computer Technician at PC On Call in 2001. In 2003, they became Managing Partner at I. T. Express, LLC. From 2005 to 2009, they were a Network Engineer at Encompass Computer Solutions. Chris then became the Owner of Digital Precision, Inc. from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Web Developer at Heels.com and held the roles of Director of Development and Senior Software Architect at Socialtopias. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Software Engineer at Passport, Inc. and the Director of Application Architecture at CloudGenera, Inc. Currently, they are a Lead Consultant Developer + Infrastructure at ThoughtWorks.

Chris Roberts obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems from Catawba College between 2002 and 2007. Chris also holds two additional certifications, including a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer from Google obtained in January 2022, and a HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp obtained in January 2022.
