Mun Sum Chan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they worked at RBC Investor & Treasury Services, where they held positions such as Supervisor, Client Operations, Senior Fund Accountant, and Fund Accountant. During their time at RBC, they managed teams, oversaw daily derivative valuation deliveries, centralized reconciliation processes, and led fund migration projects.

In 2016, Mun Sum Chan joined BNP Paribas Securities Services as a Fund Accounting Associate, where they set up a new business unit and developed tools for process migration testing. They later became a Client Account Manager, Associate and then an AVP, where they focused on improving client relationships, resolving client requests and issues, conducting service reviews, and implementing service enhancements.

From 2021 onwards, Mun Sum Chan worked at CloudMargin as a Client Service Executive and later as a Client Services Manager. In these roles, they managed client onboarding, built reports, engaged with clients for service reviews, delivered updates on product features, and collaborated with the Sales team.

Outside of their professional experience, Mun Sum Chan also worked as a Sales Assistant at Telekom Malaysia and held a Head Prefect position at Sekolah Sri Murni. They obtained a degree from The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, where they were a student from 2007 to 2011.

Mun Sum Chan completed their high school education at Sekolah Sri Murni from 2002 to 2006. After that, they attended Nottingham University Business School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Business Economics & Finance with a focus on Economics and Finance. In addition to their formal education, Mun Sum Chan obtained a certification in "Telling Stories with Data" from LinkedIn in November 2020.
