Adam Toppin

Adam Toppin has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Adam began their career at What Really Works as a Marketing Intern in 2010. Adam then moved to Mayo Clinic where they worked as a Market Research Consultant, conducting market analysis for a patent. In 2009, they also served as a Leadership Development Intern at Gustavus Adolphus College, where they developed and implemented a new leadership program.

From 2010 to 2012, Toppin worked at Accretive Health as both an Operations Lead and a Senior Operations Lead. Adam'sresponsibilities included revenue and operational report analysis, denials management, cost management, provider enrollment, and IT resource alignment.

Starting in 2012, Toppin joined MedeAnalytics Inc as a Senior Associate, focusing on delivering healthcare business intelligence and performance management solutions. Adam played a role in improving financial and operational outcomes and was involved in back-office operations and denials management.

In 2014, Toppin became a Manager of Client Operations at Element Consulting Group. Adam was responsible for business development, corporate strategy, and consulting practice management, with a focus on revenue cycle management and revenue cycle transformation strategy. Adam also provided strategic advisory services for a health and wellness firm.

Toppin joined Optum360 in 2016 as an Associate Director. Adam was responsible for designing and delivering revenue cycle business intelligence reporting and analytics solutions, as well as co-administering the Bright Ideas program to drive innovation.

Currently, Toppin is working at Cloudmed, an R1 company. Adam began as the Director of Client Success in 2018 and was later promoted to Vice President of Client Success in 2019. In 2021, they assumed the role of Vice President of Commercial Operations.

Throughout their career, Toppin has demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, strategic advisory services, and business intelligence delivery in the healthcare industry.

Adam Toppin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Adam later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of St. Thomas from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their college education, Adam Toppin completed their high school studies at Wayzata High School, earning a diploma in 2006.
