Karthik Murugesan

Karthik Murugesan has been working in the tech industry since 2010. Karthik started as a Java Developer at AT&T, then moved to a Sr Java Consultant role at GE Digital Energy in 2011. In 2013, they became a Sr Camel Java Integration Consultant at the Department of Social Services Missouri, followed by a Lead Java Camel Fuse Developer role at Target in 2015. Also in 2015, they took an Integration Engineer role at the Arkansas Department of Human Services. In 2018, they became a Lead/Sr Application Engineer/Solutions Architect at TCF Bank, working on deployment and architecture of a multi broker Kafka cluster and providing solutions for Informatica. In 2019, they held two roles, a Kafka Architect at Express Scripts and a Sr Architect (AVM AIA) at Cognizant. Finally, in 2021, they took a Kafka PaaS SME role at Cox Communications and is currently a Kafka Engineering Leader at CloudPaths.

Karthik Murugesan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University between 1999 and 2003. In 2016, they obtained a Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Intermediate certification from Duolingo.
