Hugh Huang has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Hugh began their career as a Claim Assessor at Southern Cross Healthcare in 2004. In 2010, they worked as a Service Desk Analyst at Health Alliance, providing IT support to over 3000 staff members. Hugh then transitioned to being an Installs Engineer at Health Alliance in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Level 2 Network/System Support at ISG, managing remote sites and troubleshooting network issues. Hugh then joined Foodstuffs (Auckland) Limited in 2014 as a Project Deployment Technical Specialist, upgrading systems and providing on-site and remote support. In 2015, they joined the Royal District Nursing Service New Zealand as a Help Desk Technician, managing computer networks and rolling out a mobility solution to multiple locations. Hugh then worked at Credit Suisse as a Level 2 Desktop Support from 2017 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer - Tier II at Varonis. Currently, they are employed at CloudPay as a Corporate IT Engineer and AMER Team Lead, and also held the role of a Windows Desktop Specialist from 2019 to 2022. Overall, Hugh Huang possesses a broad range of technical skills and has consistently taken on responsibilities in various IT support roles throughout their career.
Hugh Huang attended the New Zealand School of Education from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in computing. Prior to that, they studied at Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2004, completing a New Zealand Diploma of Business in Business. In addition to their formal education, Hugh has obtained several certifications, including Essential Lessons for First-Time Managers from LinkedIn in 2022, Administering and Deploying SCCM 2012 from Microsoft in 2013, Citrix Certified Administrator from Citrix in 2011, Microsoft Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration from Microsoft in 2011, and Windows 7, configuration from Microsoft in 2010.
