Janahan Sivananthamoorthy

Janahan Sivananthamoorthy has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2023. Janahan started their career as a Software Engineer at Mphasis from January 2011 to April 2012. Janahan then worked as a software engineer at Wirecard from April 2012 to April 2015, gaining extensive experience in card payment systems and technologies such as Java, JPOS, J2EE, and more.

From May 2015 to May 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Zenith Infotech (S) Pte Ltd, contributing to the development of a government procurement portal.

Janahan joined NETS in June 2016 as a Consultant, Technology, where they worked on the eNETS online payment gateway team. During their time there, they gained experience in API security, payment gateway systems, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and merchant onboarding.

In August 2021, Janahan joined Singlife as an Assistant Vice President, Application Development, API Platform. Janahan was responsible for the development and maintenance of enterprise integration systems and worked on projects related to enabling straight-through processing and event-driven architecture.

Their most recent role is at CloudPay, where they have been working as a Principal Software Engineer starting from August 2023.

Janahan Sivananthamoorthy holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore, obtained between 2014 and 2016. Janahan also earned a B.Sc degree in Information Technology from Curtin University, completed from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Janahan has obtained several certifications, including the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in January 2021, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2020. Janahan also holds certifications such as Certificate in Business Accounting (CIMA), and the Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the JAVA platform, Standard edition 5. (310-091), as well as the Sun Certified Programmer for the JAVA platform, Standard edition 6 (310-065).
