Andy Chalklin

Andy Chalklin is a strategic technology visionary with extensive international experience in driving innovation and digital transformation across various sectors, including technology, hospitality, and financial services. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information & Digital Officer at the University of Surrey, Andy previously held significant roles, such as Director of IT & eCommerce at Prêt A Manger, where they transformed the technology function and implemented cloud solutions. As a non-executive director at Northdoor plc, Andy has played a pivotal role in client success and business growth since returning to the UK. Additionally, they founded Northdoor's UK Managed Services and continue to guide their strategic direction. Andy began their career as a project manager in the space sector, contributing to the Ariane 5 project. They hold a degree in Microelectronics & Computer Engineering from Bangor University.
