Neil Butler

Neil Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Neil is currently the CEO of Cloudscaler, where they assist enterprise clients in creating and managing large-scale AWS cloud platforms for digital transformation. Prior to Cloudscaler, Neil served as the Director and Owner of Clearvision CM for 17 years. Neil also held the role of Chief Digital Officer (Interim) at Santander UK from April 2021 to June 2022. In 2020, Neil was the Chief Technology Officer for the NHS Test and Trace Service under the Department of Health and Social Care, where they led the technology solutions related to COVID-19. Previously, they worked at easyJet as the Programme Director for easyJet Holidays and at EY as the Head of Agile Delivery and Digital Transformation. Neil has extensive experience in managing agile delivery and digital transformation projects for clients such as John Lewis, Waitrose, ARM, Ocado, NHS Digital, and Vodafone. Before that, they worked as a Programme Manager for the Immigration Platform Technologies project at The Home Office and held various roles at Ernst & Young and UBS Investment Bank. Neil started their career as a Development Manager at Intrinsic.

Neil Butler attended the University of Nottingham from 1991 to 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
