Pamela Eteng has had three work experiences. In 2021, they worked as a Covid-19 laboratory technician at Prenetics EMEA. Pamela'sresponsibilities included using LIMS software to manage samples, processing samples using analyzers, and maintaining equipment. In 2022, they worked as a Cloud Engineer Trainee at Generation UK & Ireland, where they completed a bootcamp on AWS cloud and gained experience with core AWS services and IT fundamentals. Currently, they are employed as a Cloud Platform Engineer at Cloudscaler, where they design and implements infrastructure solutions in AWS environments and integrates security scan tools into workflows.
Pamela Eteng completed the AWS re/Start Program in 2022, which focused on cloud computing and information technology. Before that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Haematology and Blood Transfusion at the University of Lagos from 2017 to 2019. Pamela obtained their Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Calabar between 2008 and 2014, specializing in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions.
In addition to their formal education, Pamela has obtained several certifications. Pamela achieved accreditation in AWS Partner (Technical) and AWS Partner (Sales) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2022. Pamela also received the AWS re/Start Graduate certification in September 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification in May 2023, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in November 2022, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in September 2022, and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) certification in November 2022.
