Andy Trayler

Andy Trayler has over 35 years of experience in the IT industry. Andy began their career in 1985 as a Software Engineer and Contractor at Generics. In 1991, they joined SSE as a Software Engineer and served as Team Leader for the Bi-Synchronous protocols team. Andy then moved to Siemens Nixdorf in 1996 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the design/development of the Access Control List (ACL) functionality with the product. In 1997, they joined CommPower as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Director, where they were responsible for contact between all customers and resellers of CommPower products within Europe. Andy then joined iQuate in 2013 as a Director of Innovation and Development Manager and was responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of ~20 engineers. In 2020, they returned to CloudSphere as a Director of Innovation and in 2021, they were promoted to Director of Information Security. In this role, they were responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic, comprehensive cybersecurity and risk management program that was subject to external audit. Theirprimary deliverable was the provision (over 12 months) of SSAE 16 compliance.

Andy Trayler graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts (Mod) Hons in Computer Science.
