Carmelo Agresta has been working in the IT industry since 2008. Carmelo began their career as a Tutor of “Laboratory of Informatics” and “Theoretical Informatics” at the Università degli Studi di Messina. In 2010, they began teaching “Digital Creativity” at As. Pe. I (Associazione Pedagogica Italiana). In 2012, they became a Software Tester Engineer and QA Test Lead Engineer at Celtrino and a Senior Programmer at StoneWork Solutions. Carmelo then returned to As. Pe. I (Associazione Pedagogica Italiana) to teach “Digital Creativity” in 2017. In 2020, they joined CloudSphere as a DevOps Engineer - SRE and Quality Assurance Test Engineer. In this role, they worked in a full Agile environment, prepared and created Test Cases, and accurately recorded test activities and tracked defects using Jira. Carmelo also tested software to identify problems/issues/bugs from an end user perspective (UI) and back end prospective using Firebug, FirePath, SQL Server, RDC, Putty and FileZilla, Postman and internal tools. Carmelo also developed internal tools to help in the daily tasks and Lab maintenance available via Webservice and/or UI.
