Michal Ustaník

Michal Ustaník has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Michal began their career in 2012 as a Housekeeper at The Inn at Bay Harbor - A Renaissance Golf Resort. Michal then worked as a FE application programmer at Cleverlance for a brief period in 2012. In 2013, they joined ui42 as a Junior Developer. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at InHiro, where they gained valuable experience in startup environments. From 2015 to 2018, Michal worked as a Web Developer at Adbee digital, mainly focused on projects in the digital agency field.

Michal'smost recent experience is at CloudTalk, where they held various roles. Michal started in 2018 as a Development Team Lead, where they worked on Angular, Electron, and WebRTC technologies, as well as Nodejs and MongoDB integrations. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Technical Product Lead, responsible for providing technical implementation of business features and building a L2 support team. In 2021, Michal became the Director of Data, establishing a Data platform team and reporting directly to the CEO. As the company scaled, they interviewed and hired key team members, including Data engineers and Data analysts. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Engineer at CloudTalk, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software engineering.

Michal Ustaník completed their education at the Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave. Michal earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from 2010 to 2013 and went on to pursue an Engineer's degree in the same field from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Michal Ustaník also obtained several certifications. In November 2022, they completed the certifications for "Docker for Developers," "TypeScript Essential Training," and "Visual Studio Code Productivity Tips" from LinkedIn. In August 2020, they acquired the certification for "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making" from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in June 2019, they completed the certification for "Akademie - hodnotový leadership" from the GrowJOB Institute.

Furthermore, Michal Ustaník holds certifications from Microsoft. In November 2016, they became certified in "MTA: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals" and in October 2016, they completed the certification for "465: Designing Database Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server."
