Chandra Devarajan

Chandra Devarajan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Chandra is currently the Founder & CTO of CloudTrakr, an Intelligent Cost Platform for AWS, Azure, and GCP. Prior to this, Chandra was a Founder & CEO at SynapsesAI from December 2018 to February 2022.

Chandra also held roles at Ephesoft, Inc. as Vice President Engineering from February 2018 to October 2018, and as Director Of Engineering from August 2017 to January 2018. At Ephesoft, they managed and led the development of Smart Document capture products, Transact and Insight. Chandra contributed to improving data-driven decision-making and revenue growth for customers.

Before Ephesoft, Chandra served as the Global Dev/DevOps/Platform Manager at Sharp from May 2015 to August 2017. Chandra oversaw the development of a cloud-based platform and implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker for Sharp products.

Chandra also gained experience at Change Healthcare as a Project Lead from March 2011 to May 2015. Chandra played a key role in improving usability and workflows in the revenue cycle management application.

Earlier in their career, Chandra worked as a Principal Software Architect at Split Season Tickets from December 2008 to February 2011, designing and developing a cloud-based platform for purchasing season tickets. Chandra also worked as a Senior Consultant at TEIQ Limited from March 2006 to November 2008, and as a Senior Software Engineer at ProxyMed and Quovadx from November 2000 to February 2006.

Chandra Devarajan has a diverse education history. In 1991, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Applications from the same institution in 1997. Chandra further pursued their education in the field of Health Sciences and Allied Health at The University of Auckland, where they completed a Bachelor of Health Science degree in 2008. Additionally, Chandra holds several certifications, including being a FinOps Certified Practitioner from the FinOps Foundation. Chandra has also obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services, such as AWS Certified Developer Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. Furthermore, Chandra has a Sun Certified Java Developer certification from Sun Microsystems.
