Akiko Ito is the current head of design at CloudTrucks. Akiko has also held the position of head of product design at Harbor, Inc. for 2 years and 6 months. Prior to that, they worked as a principal designer, product designer, and senior UX designer at Zenefits for 2 years and 3 months. Before that, they spent 3 years at Evernote as a senior designer and senior UX designer. Her clients included Nike, Cannondale, Taryn Rose, Elixir Design, Volume Inc., ReadyMade Magazine, Zanbato, Vendop, Zimmermann Design, Butterfly Yoga. Akiko was responsible for art direction, UI / UX design, brand identity development, content strategy, information architecture, production, press supervision. After their time as a contract designer/art director, they spent 2 years and 9 months as a senior designer at Larsen.

Akiko Ito has a University of California, Berkeley, Executive Education Program and a California College of the Arts BFA in Design. Akiko also has an Augsburg College education in International Relations.
