Andrew Millie

Andrew Millie is an accomplished academic in criminology, currently serving as a Professor of Criminology and Head of Discipline for Social Policy and Criminology at The Open University since April 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew held significant positions at Edge Hill University as a Professor of Criminology and Associate Head of the School of Law, Criminology and Policing from September 2011 to April 2024, and previously contributed to various research and academic roles at institutions including King's College London, the University of Wolverhampton, Loughborough University, and the University of Glasgow. Andrew's educational background features a PhD and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Wales, Swansea, along with a PG(Cert) in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Wolverhampton.
