Anja Schaefer

Anja Schaefer is a prominent academic and liberal Democrat candidate for Mid Buckinghamshire. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Management at The Open University, Anja has a rich background in organizational ethics and sustainability, supervising numerous research students in related fields. Previously, Anja held senior lecturer positions at Maynooth University and the Open University Business School, where they also served as Head of Department. Anja’s earlier academic roles include a Lectureship in Marketing at King’s College London and a Research Associate position at Manchester Business School. Anja earned a DPhil in Marketing from the University of Buckingham and holds an MBA from Aberystwyth University, along with a Diplom in Translation studies from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
