Manager, Training, Communications and Projects

Carmel Collins has held various positions in the field of information management and research ethics, beginning with a graduate placement at the UK Ministry of Defence in 1985. They worked as a law librarian at several law practices, and later served as Business Information Manager at the Milton Keynes & North Bucks Chamber of Commerce, where they developed a commercial information service. At The Open University, Carmel managed the Research Ethics department and currently serves as Manager for Training, Communications, and Projects in the Research Enterprise and Scholarship Office. They hold a BA (Hons) in Librarianship and Information Studies from Birmingham City University, completed in 1987.
