Charles Barthold

Charles Barthold is a Senior Lecturer in HRM and Organisation Studies at The Open University, focusing on organisation studies and leadership as they relate to contemporary economic, environmental, and social issues. They have extensive teaching experience with postgraduate and undergraduate students, supervising numerous dissertations. Prior to their current role, Charles served as a Lecturer in People and Organisations at The Open University and a Lecturer in Strategy at Kingston University. Charles holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester, as well as multiple master’s and bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and political theory. Currently, they also contribute as a Co Editor for MayFly Books and as an Associate Editor for Culture and Organization.
